/I had the opportunity to play a showcase of songs from new musicals by women from around the country, presented by Prospect Theater Company and hosted by Amanda Green. The TimesCenter is absolutely beautiful!

Collaborating with Pharoahe Monch for Ecstatic Music Festival was a night I'll never forget. I hope we get to do it again!

It was a pleasure to arrange 8 tunes for Maryland's own Bond St. District for the PitchBlak Playlist series. I had no shame in telling a room of New Yorkers that Maryland is the greatest state in the country!
Looking forward to sharing some videos from this special night. Everyone worked their butts off to deliver an unforgettable night of music!
On Monday, PitchBlak had our first rehearsal for our upcoming Ecstatic Music Festival concert with Pharoahe Monch. In additional to our usual instrumentation, we are performing with a string quartet and vocalist. This is a concert not to be missed! Grab tickets here. I swear I'm looking at the metronome app and not Twitter in this picture.
My parents and grandparents stayed out until 2am to hear my band play in my hometown Friday night. What an inspiration!

Hell of a time working on the November PitchBlak Playlist with Mean Joe Scheme. To be honest, I don't think he has a mean bone in him! He's one of the hardest working artists we've ever collaborated with and his dedication to his craft is an inspiration.
Andrew Piccone just dropped the new TubaFresh single over on his blog, thishasgottostop.net. He also did a photo shoot with us in Sunset Park recently and interviewed Ms. Fresh herself. Check out his full post here. Like Subject Matter, we recorded this one with our main dude Alex Weston.
We are playing tonight at the Silent Barn in Bushwick. There is nothing better than a gig you can walk to from your own house. Hope to see you there!
